LIBRARY
The College has a well stocked upto date library containing nearly thirty thousand books
and subscribing to eighty international and national journals. The reading room can
accommodate about one hundred students. The Library, an E-mail facility and an online search
service. The library is open on all working days. To become a borrowing member of the
library, you must fill in the prescribed from obtainable from the lending counter. For

COMPUTER CENTRE
The College has a well equipped Computer Centre with an internet connection and E-mail
facility. As a student, you are allowed access to the centre. Should you wish to learn the
rudiments of computer operations, you may enroll in the Computer Awareness Program. The
course content is :
(1) Introduction to Computers
· Electronic Machine, Advantages/Disadvantages, Introduction to application in scientific
and commercial fields.
· Architecture of computers, memory (RAM and ROM), ALU, Control unit.
· Higher level language
· Types of personal computers
· Components of computer system, I/O devices viz., (VDU/Disc drives/Printer/Keyboard/CPU)
· The operating system.
(2) Spreadsheet (Emphasis on Lotus 1-2-3)
(3) Word Processing (Emphasis on WORD-STAR)
(4) Data Base Management System (Emphasis on dbase 111+)
STUDENTS UNION AND OTHER SOCIETIES
The College has constituted various societies to provide facilities for the alround
development of the students in the diverse fields of extra and co-curricular activities. Prominent
among these are the College Union, Fine Arts and Cultural Society,Debating Society,NSS, Magazine
Committee, Excursion Committee, Commerce Association, Geography Association etc. The
office bearers are elected or nominated. There is an election for the Delhi
University Students Union on the date decided by the University. Details regarding the
functioning and activities of various societies are provided in the College Prospectus
which may be obtained from the College Office on payment.
COLLEGE MAGAZINE
The College magazine 'Sandhyalok' is brought out annually and provides the students with a powerful
medium for expressing their creativity in Hindi and English.
SPORTS
The College has extensive facilities and infrastructure to develop and sustain your
interest in sports. There is a gymnasium,tennis,basketball and badminton courts etc.
COLLEGE CANTEEN
The College has a beautiful canteen to cater to students and staff. All care is taken by the College to ensure good quality food and beverages at subsidised rates to facilitate students.
UBI EXTENSION COUNTER
The College has on its campus an extension counter of Union Bank of India
to provide convenient banking facilities to staff and students.
PARKING
